The Spirit and science behind Loved Into LifeSM

The Foundation: From Conception to Belief

"From the time of conception we are immersed in experiences that form our reality and our identity."

We have all had experiences that have compromised, limited and hindered us in many ways.

The Good News

These harmful experiences can be fully transformed. We can have a whole brain in union with the mind of Christ.

Scripture tells us that we can be transformed by the renewing of our mind (Romans 12:2 and Ephesians 4:22–24).

Understanding the Brain and Belief

In neuroscience, we have learned that this beautiful brain has two hemispheres – both experiential and thinking.

Each hemisphere has its own unique belief system:

  • Left Brain: Logical reasoning, linear, analytical, micro-thinking, conscious brain.
  • Right Brain: Experiential, relational, feeling, nonverbal. The big picture – subconscious, intuitive, and connected to the autonomic nervous system.

We want to have a single mind, one with the mind of Christ.

When Beliefs Clash

  • “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” – James 1:8
  • “A house divided against itself will fall.” – Mark 3:25

When our beliefs aren’t aligned (e.g., “I know that God loves me, but…”), we feel unstable and insecure. This disconnection limits our ability to thrive.

The Transformational Invitation

  • “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 2:5
  • "Jesus made the way for us to be transformed through the finished work of the cross." – Luke 4:18

This is a divine invitation: a new way of thinking and living, led by the mind of Christ.

How Transformation Happens

Both hemispheres need transformation, but they engage differently:

  • Right Hemisphere – transformed by a new thought.
  • Left Hemisphere – transformed by a new experience.

This transformational experience is like the children going in and possessing the promised land. They took new territory little by little, running the giants and wild beasts out (belief systems, structures, traumas, coping mechanisms, emotions – anything that does not look like Jesus).

Your Identity in Christ

"The fact is we are one with Jesus..." – John 17:21

Here’s who Scripture says you are::

  • A child of God (John 1:12).
  • Seated with Him (Ephesians 2:6)
  • An ambassador from heaven (2 Corinthians 5:20)
  • A new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)
  • His beloved (1 John 3:1–2)
  • An overcomer (1 John 5:4–5)
  • More than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)
  • One with access to everything through the finished work of the cross (John 19:30)

Our Role at Loved Into LifeSM

In Loved Into LifeSM we facilitate experiences that have been hindered by any of the above truths so that you can thrive as you love the Lord your God with all your heart, and your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:30-31).
